Community Advisory Committee
The committee meets as required, either as an entire group for presentations or as a site-based group for workshops to discuss concepts, plans and projects.
Members provide valuable local knowledge of the sites and ensure ideas being proposed are viable and meet the community’s needs.
During the interim phase of the Harbour Trust, four community consultative committees were set up to cover all of the sites. These committees were informal with no statutory basis.
After the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Act was proclaimed in September 2001, the Community Advisory Committee was established to reflect the Harbour Trust's whole-of-harbour approach to the planning.
