Management Plan Georges Head

Sydney Harbour Federation Trust 17 May 2005

In 2003 the Harbour Trust proposed the creation of a Headland Park.  The Gunners' Barracks (later the Officers' Mess), fortifications and Gunshot Alley housing at Georges Head form an extremely important historic part of this precinct The Trust decided that they should be conserved and adaptively reused as one of the early stages of the park's development.   The purpose of this Management Plan is to guide this work.
