Education
The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust education program offers engaging and memorable learning experiences on some of Sydney Harbour's most unique heritage sites.
Programs for primary and secondary students are offered at Cockatoo Island and North Head Sanctuary, providing opportunities to explore and discover the dramatic built and natural landscapes and rich history of these sites.
Programs have been developed to meet outcomes in a range of NSW syllabus areas and are delivered by experienced teachers. Resource materials are also available for teacher and students to support visits to our sites.
Vacation Care Programs
The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust offers a variety of guided programs and self-directed activities for Vacation Care groups at North Head Sanctuary, Headland Park and Cockatoo Island. These programs assist children to explore and learn about nature and history in fun and engaging ways. Vacation Care providers can arrange a visit to our sites on any day during the school holiday period.
