Now Leasing at Cockatoo Island

Cockatoo Island is undoubtedly one of the most atmospheric and spectacular venues on Sydney Harbour. This UNESCO World Heritage listed site is a former convict prison and dockyard and plays host to a prestigious portfolio of arts, commercial, private and community events. It's unique collection of convict and industrial buildings provide the backdrop to movies, TV commercials, photography shoots and weddings.

Transport

Cockatoo Island is serviced by regular Sydney Ferries on both the River Cat and Woolwich routes, and charter and private vessels may also access the island’s two wharves and private marina. The fastest ferries take only 8 minutes to Circular Quay. A roll-on, roll-off barge ramp is available for truck deliveries to the island. More on getting to Cockatoo Island.
