Headland Park
Not only one of Sydney's most beautiful urban parklands, Headland Park is also home to some surprising artworks. In association with Sculpture by the Sea, the Harbour Trust is creating a sculpture park within Headland Park. You'll find a number of sculptures dotted around the park. They will remain in place for two years and are also for sale.

Art on Cockatoo Island
Remarkable Cockatoo Island with its grand industrial spaces and gritty maritime relics is an inspiration for many artists.
Artists on Cockatoo
The Harbour Trust has introduced a trial artists' residency program on Cockatoo Island. The trial program is for twelve months and is fully subscribed. At the conclusion of the trial program an exhibition of the work produced by the artists will be shown and a review of the program will be undertaken by the Trust. Any further information on the program will be placed on this website including the future of the program following the review. Please note that the Trust does not have studio space available for artists' use other than that allocated for the trial program.
Biennale of Sydney
Cockatoo Island was one of the key venues for the hugely successful 16th Biennale of Sydney in 2008. The island was one of the most popular venues with 86,000 people visiting the island during the 12-week art festival. The 2008 Biennale was awarded Australian Event of the Year at the Australian Event Awards. And next year Cockatoo Island will be a major venue partner of the Biennale of Sydney 2010. Installations will be open from 12 May 2010 - 1 August 2010. We will post more details on this major contemporary art festival as they become available.
