Unstructured Educational Experiences

Harbour Trust guided tours and walking tracks provide valuable educational experiences for the community.

Guided tours of several sites are delivered by trained tour guides. Self-guided tours can be taken on Harbour Trust walking tracks which feature interpretive signage telling the story of these unique sites.

Presentations to Community Groups

Find out more about the Harbour Trust's unique sites through an illustrated presentation to your community group.

A team of trained volunteers provide free educational talks to groups across the Sydney metropolitan area and Central Coast.

The multimedia presentation inlcudes an insightful talk on the role of the Harbour Trust, the history of the eight sites and the plans and projects which the Trust is undertaking to return these sites to people of Australia. This is complemented by a number of photographs displayed electronically.

Gain an insight into Sydney harbour's colourful history and the future of these sites and learn how you and your group can enjoy them through tours, events and open access.

The presentors come equiped with their own electronic equipment and only require access to power, a blank wall or screen and an enthusiastic audience.

The Trust conducts these talks on a regular basis for community groups like Rotary, Lions, Probus and Historical Societies. A minimum of 20 people in attendance is requested.
