Harbour Trust: News and EventsNewsA feral rabbit control program will commence in selected areas of Mosman, including Harbour Trust lands at Georges Heights and Middle Head on Monday 28 April and conclude on Friday 16 May. The program is being coordinated by the National Parks and Wildlife Service and will include some Council reserves, Sydney Harbour National Park, HMAS Penquin and Taronga Zoo. The work involves the laying of chopped carrot bait (dyed green) containing the anticoagulant poison Pindone. Pindone is highly toxic to dogs and other animals and therefore, as a precaution, dogs are excluded from the reserves during the baiting period. National Parks and Wildlife staff will erect warning signs at all entry points to reserves, mark baiting stations and place public notices in the Mosman Daily. For further information:
