Planning the Future

A Vision for the Future of HMAS Platypus

The Harbour Trust has recently announced the formation of a Community Advisory Committee for HMAS Platypus.

The formation of this Committee is the first stage of developing an eventual management plan for the site, that will enshrine a vision for how the site is used and what activities are permitted.

Strategic Plan for HMAS Platypus

The Harbour Trust has only recently been handed the management of HMAS Platypus. Over the coming year work will begin on a strategic plan for the site, and eventually the Trust will produce a more detailed management plan for its ongoing use and development.

The strategic plan will be developed in line with the objectives and principles of the Comprehensive Plan.
