Harbour Trust: ResourcesOral Histories - Can You Help?
Arrival of HMAS Oxley at HMAS Platypus in 1967 (ML ref ON 173 frame 26463)The Harbour Trust is conserving the cultural history of its sites through the tales and memories of people who have been associated with the various sites there. The Harbour Trust is interviewing these people and recording their oral histories. The recordings and transcripts of this project will provide snapshots of the sites histories and the impact they have had on peoples lives. Have you worked on Cockatoo Island? At Chowder Bay? At Woolwich Dock? At any of the Trust's eight sites? The Harbour Trust is keen to hear from former civilian and military people who have worked on one of its sites.
