Description

This brochure gives tips on being a Bush Friendly Neighbour - what plants to grow, responsible pet care, conserving water, using 'friendly' pesticides and fertilisers, and reducing fire hazards.

The brochure has been cooperatively produced by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Manly and Mosman Councils, the NSW Fire Brigade and the Harbour Trust.

Written to accompany the Sites Unseen exhibition, on display at Customs House from 26 May to 2 September 2001, it looks at how the Harbour Trust is developing plans for the sites and the principles that underpin the planning.

The Sites Unseen booklet explores the 'sense of place' and valuable qualities for each of the sites, and puts forward proposals for activities that may occur on the sites in the future.
