Draft Harbour Trust Leasing Policy 2020 – Submissions Invited

[Please be advised: In light of the outcomes of the Independent Review of the Harbour Trust  in relation to recommendations 11, 12, 13 and 19(a), the Harbour Trust will be required prepare a redraft of the leasing policy. This will include feedback received during the current community consultation process. The redrafted policy will go through a public consultation process.]

The Harbour Trust is inviting the public to comment on the Draft Harbour Trust Leasing Policy 2020.

The Harbour Trust proposes to amend its current Leasing Policy. The Draft Harbour Trust Leasing Policy 2020 includes the following key changes:

1. Clarifying the process for the consideration of unsolicited proposals to the Harbour Trust.
2. Clarifying the role of the Trust’s Tenant Selection Committee and the responsibilities of the Tenant Selection Committee, Executive Director and the Members of the Harbour Trust in approving lease proposals and lease renewals.

The current Harbour Trust Leasing Policy was adopted by the Harbour Trust in 2017.
