Coastrek for mental health awareness through Harbour Trust Sites

Thousands of wild women (and a few men) taking on the Sydney Coastrek team trekking challenge are hiking through North Head Sanctuary and Headland Park this Friday 19 March to raise awareness of mental health in Australia as well as much needed funds for Beyond Blue.

Headland Park’s artists puts on a show (media release)

From 20 March, the Headland Artists will host their biannual Open Studio Day and Landship Exhibition at Georges Heights in Mosman. The free exhibition which will run daily until the 28 March, is part of series of events encouraging visitors to rediscover the Harbour Trust in its 20th year.

Legislation that extends the life of the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust (Harbour Trust) in perpetuity will be presented to Parliament on Thursday 18 March 2021.

Bandicoot Heaven at North Head Sanctuary has reopened

The North Head Sanctuary Foundation’s visitor centre, Bandicoot Heaven has reopened to the public. Located at North Head Sanctuary in Manly, the community-run centre is an opportunity for locals, students and other visitors to learn about flora and fauna.

The Harbour Trust recently invited community feedback about Snapper Island, Sydney Harbour. A Discussion Paper, together with a supporting draft (non-statutory) Conservation Management Plan, were available for comment between 18 November 2020 and 12 February 2021.
