Vale Frank Thompson, Head Ranger

It is with deep sadness that we share the recent passing of Frank Thompson, our long-serving Head Ranger.

Frank joined the Harbour Trust as Head Ranger in September 2007. However, his connection to our destinations predates the establishment of our agency. As early as 1997, he had provided security across what would become Harbour Trust sites.

Frank was a valued member of the Harbour Trust as well as the broader community. He was known for always being available to assist members of the public, tenants and his co-workers. Frank’s presence had a lasting, positive impact on everyone privileged enough to know him. He will be both deeply missed but also fondly remembered.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to Frank’s family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.

Today (29 July), flags across our destinations will be flown at half-mast, as a sign of mourning and to pay our respects to Frank Thompson, Head Ranger.
