New Regulations for the Harbour Trust have come into force, replacing the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Regulations 2001 which were due to sunset on 1 October 2021.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Harbour Trust, established in 2001 to protect heritage sites in Sydney. To celebrate this milestone, we are proud to share a series of videos telling the Harbour Trust’s story from the perspective of our community.
The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Regulations 2001 are due to sunset on 1 October 2021. New draft regulations have been prepared to replace them. The public is invited to comment on the exposure draft Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Regulations 2021. Submissions are invited until 5pm on 19 July 2021.
The Harbour Trust is delivering the next stage of renewal works at Sub Base Platypus; namely, the creation of additional parkland through the adaptation and interpretation of the Torpedo Factory. Opportunities for the community to learn more include a design exhibition and drop-in sessions.
