Prior to European settlement, Middle Head/Gubbuh Gubbuh was home to the Borogegal People, the Traditional Custodians of Headland Park and the area changed forever upon the arrival of the First Fleet. This premises were originally purpose-built as barracks during WWII, the buildings in this exclusive complex later served as accommodation and training for the Australian School of Pacific Administration (ASOPA).
