The Harbour Trust is carefully restoring a stone wall at North Head Sanctuary, Manly that partially collapsed due to an extreme weather event in March 2022. Unprecedented rain during this event led to a rapid build-up of water at the base of the wall, undermining its foundations.
The Harbour Trust continues to carry out significant works to enhance the amenity of its extraordinary places on Sydney Harbour and ensure they remain safe, accessible and enjoyable.
Over the next month, approximately 500 tubestock-sized Sunshine Wattles (Acacia terminalis subspecies Eastern Sydney) will be planted adjacent to bush tracks and revegetated areas at Headland Park, Mosman.
