The Harbour Trust has considered community feedback on its design concept for the Torpedo Factory. The Harbour Trust will now work on refining the design, and will consult further with the community once an updated scheme has been prepared. Running from 31 August until 8 September, History Week 2019 (NSW) is a great opportunity for the community to engage with the layered narrative of Sydney Harbour. During this week-long celebration, the Harbour Trust will host a program of events guaranteed to capture the imaginations of history buffs and other attendees.
How will you be celebrating International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend (17-18 August)? Hot Tip: Book tickets for our Macquarie Lighthouse Tour on Sunday, 18 August. You’ll learn about Australia’s original lighthouse, built in 1818, and ascend to the balcony for an epic view of Sydney Harbour and the Pacific Ocean.
The Red Hot Summer Tour will marks its 10th anniversary in 2020 with a special show at historic Cockatoo Island. On Sunday, 9 February, Aussie rock legends Hunters & Collectors will lead an all-star line-up. James Reyne, the Living End, the Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera will also perform.
