Running select Saturdays, the Sub Base Platypus Walking Tour is a 60-minute guided journey through the different layers of history at Sub Base Platypus.
Located on the foreshore of North Sydney in Cammeraygal Country, the site now known as Sub Base Platypus was formerly a torpedo factory, submarine base and gasworks.
Ticket holders will learn about the First Nations, industrial and military heritage of this emerging community hub, including remnant buildings from different eras.

Tickets are $26 per adult, $16 per child (16 and under), $16 per concession and $16 per senior.
Subject to guide availability, we accept private group bookings with a minimum charge equal to the cost of 10 participants. To request a private group tour, complete our enquiry form.
As a registered COVID Safe business, we require tourgoers to scan a QR code upon arrival and complete a COVID Safe check-in with Service NSW.

Although this is an all-ages tour, people under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Further, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are advised that the tour contains stories (and may contain images and/or visuals) of deceased people.
This tour involves a steep incline and some uneven surfaces, and it is not suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. A moderate level of fitness and mobility is required.
Suitable walking shoes, a sunhat and wet weather gear (if needed).
Tours will proceed regardless of weather conditions except in the event of extreme weather.
