Light testing at Sub Base Platypus

The Harbour Trust has appointed a specialist lighting consultant to test the lighting at Sub Base Platypus to ensure that it meets relevant standards.

The consultant will measure light levels over two evenings, during which time the lights at Sub Base Platypus will need to be kept on until 11pm.

The first night of light testing is scheduled to take place on Monday 3 February 2020, and/or possibly Tuesday 4 February 2020, depending upon weather conditions. A second night of testing will be conducted on a weeknight in early-mid February.
