Notice of Evening Works at Sub Base Platypus

The Harbour Trust’s contractor will be working into the early evening at Sub Base Platypus on Wednesday 2 October 2019.

A concrete slab will be constructed in the laneway between Buildings 2 and 10. These works will involve pouring concrete, allowing it time to cure, and then finishing the surface. The works need to be undertaken in a single day, which will unavoidably mean working into the early evening.

The concrete pour is scheduled to take place between 7.00 am - 9.30 am. The finishing works are scheduled to commence at 3 pm, and are likely to be audible. Subject to favourable weather conditions, we anticipate the works will be completed by 7 pm, and that workers will then depart the site.
