Located along the scenic Federation Cliff Walk at Vaucluse in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Macquarie Lightstation is the site of Australia’s first lighthouse.

  • The grounds of Macquarie Lightstation are mostly wheelchair accessible; however, some surfaces are uneven.
  • The lighthouse is only open to the public during guided tours. Please note: there are 100 steps to the top of the lighthouse.
