For a limited time only, visitors to the Industrial Precinct can marvel at a WW2 era submarine torpedo. The decommissioned Mark VIII torpedo was today transferred to Cockatoo Island from Spectacle Island’s military base. The Harbour Trust will eventually relocate the torpedo to Sub Base Platypus, its community recreation and work hub in North Sydney.
