Snapper Island - Proposed works – Public comment invited until 16 October 2025

The public has an opportunity to comment on a Department of Finance proposal for Snapper Island on Sydney Harbour. The Department of Finance owns and manages Snapper Island where it is proposing to undertake works involving demolitions, repairs and remediation.

NSW Fire & Rescue has advised they will be conducting a planned burn for the Harbour Trust at North Head Sanctuary, Manly on Wednesday 1 October (weather permitting).
